In this week's Alumni Spotlight, we're catching up with alumnus Brandon Miller.

What are you doing now?

I am an Internal Wholesaler for Sammons Financial Group.

How did APS prepare you for this role?

AHS was truly a foundation to my professional career. From everything including business class with Watkins, to student council with Malo, Concert Choir with Mr. Johnson, soccer with Jens & Jake Levisen, and connect with Beschnett. The class of 2015 legacy will live on forever. 2 time battle of connect champions & my senior quote posted in the commons forever. Students today, Graduates tomorrow, Packers Forever. Thank you AHS

What is your advice for current Packers?

Get involved. The more you put in is the more you get out. Being DECA President, Packer Press co-publisher, 2 sport athlete, concert choir, and student section leader, AHS gave me a ton of insight on how to be a leader. The best leaders Challenge the status quo and push the needle to a better environment for everyone. Promote change and Positive attitudes. Side note GO BIG OR GO home, be proud to wear the scarlet and white and strive for greatness every single day.

Who at APS inspired you?

Ms. Baskin, Jake Levisen, and Mr. Compton. Compton brought the energy everyone needs, he makes you want to learn and his current events were always fire. Baskin taught me rules and seriousness which I definitely needed. Jake was the biggest motivator.

What was your favorite meal in the cafeteria?

Crispitos (I was always getting seconds) & Chicken Alfredo.
